Here are the pictures, I hope you like!
Do let me know what you think.

Hello
I have just listed two new transfers in the shop, I would like to get all my images so far available on transfer but it will be a gradual process.
Here are the latest two.
I would love to see any finished products made with my transfers, we could have a little gallery!
I know one lady planned to make a t-shirt for her little girl, I would love to see that...cute!
I am dying to get back to proper blogging as I have missed all the creative interaction. I am slowly weaning myself back on to computer stuff, it's amazing how rusty you become when you get out of the swing of things.
Oh and I almost forgot to say that A few days ago I made a little gift set for the shop!
It is a sweet little bag featuring one of my illustrations and it contains four hand sewn post cards and a little broach.
I just got round to taking photos today when my camera packed up!
Nothing drastic just new batteries needed.
So you will see it soon, I love the idea of gift sets and will definitely make more.
I am off to the kids school now for a strawberry tea and scarecrow competition. I live such a varied and exciting life LOL!

Hi folks Just thought I would update you all that I have some new ACEOs and originals in the shop this week, here's a little preview!
You may recognize some of these images from my shop banner, It's taken me ages to get them in the shop!
I am planning to make some transfers of this set too, although a thousand and one house hold jobs seem to be getting in the way of shop activity.
Hope you all are having a great summer so far, we have been basking in the sun this week and even took our rickety little caravan to the beach.
I also made some time for a spot of felting recently which you can see here.
Take care all
Caroline

The sun is not smiling today and that means I have had to settle for some indoor jobs.
So I listed a couple of little coin purses in my shop.
Here's the link if you want to go see.
I hope a happy and relaxing weekend is had by all, my weekend is once again full of kiddy birthday parties.
So many people seem to be born in spring, me included!

Well what a lazy blog lady I have been, almost a month since my last post!
Shame on me.
Actually I have been just enjoying the coming of spring soooo much that I just can't bring myself to be at the computer.
Everything is waking up here, finally! after what seems like a very very long winter.
Here are some Easter gifts from our wonderful feathered ladies!
I have been spending lots of time in the garden helping things to look their best and just generally admiring the daffodils and watching the chickens.
When the sun shines here you just have to make the most of it, so I spent a lovely hour or so in the hammock yesterday enjoying the sunshine and watching the unfolding drama in the tree tops as our young cat tried to catch a very irritated red squirrel, aah the optimism of youth!
I enjoy this sort of entertainment much more than telly!
I have been doing a bit of crafty stuff too, here is a spoon I carved for my good friend Monika from beech wood.
The felted dress is also finished, but not yet photographed!
So my sewing machine and drawing desk sit there getting dusty while I play in the sunshine.....and long may it continue!

Hi folks
Hope you are all enjoying the coming of spring as much as we are, lord knows us lot in the far north are ready for a bit of sunshine!
This weekend I got to see how the south is faring this spring time as my wonderful husband organized a surprise treat and took me down to London for the weekend!!
I know, he is the best!!
I got to fulfill one of my ambitions for this year by visiting Kew gardens.
I love Kew so much it is just like a paradise, when I'm there I feel like I have just wandered into the garden of Eden.
I didn't take too many photos this time as I didn't want to see it all through a camera lens especially since I had the company of my good husband, so Here are a few photos from my last visit to Kew when it was just me and my camera.
The top one is the underside of a giant water Lilly leaf!
We had such a great time in London, not only did I get to visit Kew, ride the sleeper train and enjoy all the wonders of London transport (which to a country bumpkin like me was very exciting) but we also went to see Snow patrol at the O2 arena!
My mum and nan were absolute stars and came up from Sheffield to look after the kids, cats, chickens, house and dog.
Great weekend!

Hi everyone,
after finishing my little shrug (the one I am wearing in the photo) It was only a matter of seconds between my daughter seeing it and ordering a dress.
So I'm giving it a go and yesterday I felted the biggest piece I have ever made. It measures 54"x26"!
I have felted a thin layer into muslin and after I have made a lining I will cut it up to make a dress.
It is a shame to cut it up really it would look great as a wall hanging, but I have my orders.
It took a lot more rubbing and rolling than I expected, perhaps because of the pre-felted shapes which took a while to incorporate. Today my legs are feeling like I have done a real work out as I was rolling with my feet.
Here are a few more snaps of work in progress.
It's quite a crazy pattern really Hope it works out okay!
Hope you all have a happy and creative week.

Hi there folks, just a quick post to say hello, I haven't been online a great deal lately and I must say spending less time on the computer is just what I need as I only have a little bit of time to my self at the moment, so I have been doing my best to use it wisely.
Here are some of the nice ways I have been using my little pockets of time
Horse riding (yes I am still slowly learning how to ride)
Pilates (trying to find the muscles I need for riding!)
Yoga (sounds from this list that I am getting fit but it doesn't feel that way)
Making myself a summer dress (yes the dress is in progress!!!)
Reading the work of the genius story teller Reiner Zimnik ( just got a copy of 'the proud white circus horse!)
Reading all the harry potter books (again) in prep for the new film.
Felting, I just made myself a cute little hat which is kind of odd looking but soooo warm (I have no photos just yet)
Listening to and totally loving the music of Ane Brun. I just got her album 'changing of the seasons' from amazon and it has been on loop ever since it came through the door!
Enjoying watching the kids tending to their four new chickens. The poor things are so nervous they won't come out of the shed.
I don't think they believe in the existence of earth and sky after probably being raised in a barn, freedom is all a bit much for them.
Still, we will soon be all happily adjusting to more sunshine as Spring comes our way!
Hi folks
I did it! I made my bag, its like a revelation to me that I could follow a pattern and have it work!!!
I know it seems very obvious, but to me it's a small miracle.
I love my bag so much!
I love my purse too, but I made my own pattern and it turned out fairly huge, it's like a comedy purse.
My hope is that it just means that I am due to become very rich LOL!
It's the small pleasures in life at the moment which make me really happy.
Here is me with my bag.
I have got so much pleasure from making this I have done something radical.......
I have bought a dress pattern! actually I bought two as there was 50% off.
I could be way out of my depth here but I am going to give it a go!
Another thing which made me happy this week is to find that one of our lovely new neighbors is also a crafty blogger!! She is such a lovely lady and makes the most beautiful things for her boys, go take a look at her blog featherglen.
Ooh also in answer to all the local ladies clamoring to find out where 'the shop' is (the one where I got the buttons) It is Patches corner in Inchmore on the old road to Beauly..... you know the one which used to be croft 7.
Wishing you all a lovely week ahead, spring is in the air.... don't you feel it?
